Rehabilitation of forest territories in industrially developed regions of the North

Воздушное промышленное загрязнение приводит к деградации
лесов на значительных территориях. Обоснован дифференцированный подход
к восстановлению в зависимости от стадии деградации. Для стабилизации
природной обстановки в условиях загрязнения выбросами медно-никелевого
производства необходимо решение двух проблем:
1. Поддержание жизненности поврежденных (дефолиирующих) лесов методом
внесения недостающих элементов питания (Ca, Mg) в почву в форме мелиорантов
пролонгированного действия.
2. Восстановление растительности на техногенных пустошах на основе сельскохозяйственного
(инвестиционного) и экологического (сукцессионного) подходов.
Сельскохозяйственный подход предусматривает значительные субсидии (подготовка
почвы с уборкой камней, распашку, внесение удобрений, уход за растениями
и др.) и может иметь успех только на ограниченных территориях.
Airborne industrial pollution leads to the degradation
of forests on sizeable territories. There is based differential approach
to rehabilitation depending on degradation stage. In order to stabilise
natural environment under pollution by copper-nickel production emissions
it is necessary to solve two problems:
Vitality maintenance of damaged (defoliating) forests by the method of
bringing in the missing nutrition elements (Ca, Mg) into the soil in the
form of prolonged effect meliorants.
Rehabilitation of vegetation in industrial deserts on the basis of agricultural
(investment) and environmental (successions) approaches.
Agricultural approach needs substantial subsidies (soil
preparation, including moving off stones, ploughing up, bringing in fertilisers,
care of plants, etc.) and can be a success only on limited territories.
